Dr Baret is also an active member of the Australian Sleep Association.
He has served the profession and the community by serving on the council of the Australian Dental Association, teaching Doctors, Dentists and Chiropractors, and helping to expand the post-graduate education of his dental colleagues. Dr Baret spent much of his life associated with Bronte Beach and as an active member of Bronte Surf Club, where he served as a Patrol Captain of the volunteer surf lifesavers for ten years. During that time he also competed for his club as a swimmer and Surf Boat rower at surf carnivals, and state and national championships around Australia.
His professional and educational work was recognised by the American Biographical Institute who listed him in the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, and later he was listed in the International Who’s Who in Medicine, by the International Biographical Centre (Cambridge, England).
After more than three decades of successfully treating TMDs and Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders, and helping children’s facial growth and development, Dr Baret earned his Post Grad Diploma in Clinical Orthodontics in 2018. He had achieved, the highest grades in this course, and was awarded as Dux of the course.
